“ I'm sure many people who grew up in Metro Manila have a Kowloon House memory. Mine usually involve knee-jerk late night or early morning food runs or food trips, especially after alcohol. I especially like this branch along Visayas Avenue in Quezon City, not only because it is close to me, but also because it has a relatively spacious dining and drinking area. Throw all the frills out the window, just give me my cheap siopao and siomai, and add a cup of plain rice. Maybe even a bottle of high-fructose syrup loaded C2 iced tea. I actually have a low alcohol tolerance, so couple of bottles of beer can do it for me for a whole night. But if you are the complete opposite and you want to continue on with the session, Kowloon House does have the usual local beer selection. ”
